Activities being carried out at JJ

Vision:- To bring about a social change through education and awareness and to help eradicate any social evil that may adversely affect the progress of our village communities.

We are carrying out following activities for village children:-

1.	Educational classes - encouraging the study of English, science and mathematics.
2.	Rewarding Meritorious students.
3.	Sponsoring education/career interests of needy children.
4.	Educational and awareness campaigns for children.
5.	Awareness campaigns to address social evils and issues like alcoholism, female feticide, health and hygene etc
6.	Career counseling and guidance for village children.
7.	Motivational talks and activities for village children in village schools.

We began by organising and conducting some English speaking and general educational classes at Sidhanti Bhawan, made available to us by Shri Vireshwar Ahlawat.

In this meet we focussed more on organising essay writing, drawing, quiz and such competitions in five village schools and also rewarded the meritorious students.

Classes at JJ Bhawan and Village Schools 2007-2008


We have been teaching English, mathematics and science in an interesting way. The students have been very eager to learn and have been benefited by the visits which JJ keeps organising to the village schools. With our activities we intend to help the children have a bigger vision for themselves as well as for the village.	We have been working and intends to work at the grass root level, trying to bring about a change in the lives of village children and village community. We aim to tap the interest and enthusiasm of girl child in studies to provide them a bright future	Our volunteers and staff have been attending to the children’s needs regarding education and learning at the JJ Project. Children are able to spend their spare time creatively at JJ rather than whiling their time in the streets.	Our volunteers and staff have been helping and organising classes at the government schools and private schools in the area.
			Jan Jagriti has been continuously doing more efforts to make society better. These are current activities.....
